HVAC upgrades will occur at three facilities: Three high efficiency gas furnaces, complete with an energy recovery system, will be installed in the municipal office; The Bewdley Arena dehumidifier will be replaced with a more efficient and environmentally friendly, electric desiccant model; and An evaporator coil and condensing unit in the existing HVAC unit will be retrofitted at the Baltimore Recreation Centre to control humidity in the dressing rooms. The project will provide an energy efficient heating system with proper air exchange in the township office to provide a more comfortable environment for staff and visitors. The dehumidification upgrades to the Bewdley Arena and Baltimore Recreation Centre will help control high moisture levels, which have caused issues in these facilities, while providing a more comfortable environment for visitors.
