Description | We are working to improve Hwy 47 (University Ave.) between Hwy 65 (Central Ave.) and 27th Ave. NE in Northeast Minneapolis. Resurfacing the pavement on this important corridor, along with replacing the guardrails and repairing drainage, will extend the life of the road for many years to come. We are also developing design changes that may be completed along with the pavement resurfacing. These will include making improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and reconfiguring some areas to more safely accommodate bicycles, pedestrians and all the people who use the road. As part of the design process, we’ll seek public feedback on the improvements from the people who live, drive, work, or play in the area. |
