The HY2MOVE project consist in the deployment of six Hydrogen Refuelling Stations (HRS) in Spain along the Mediterranean and Atlantic corridors, in the following locations: 1) Technological Park of Abanto Zierbena (Bizkaia, País Vasco), 2) Loiu Airport (Bizkaia, País Vasco), 3) Service Station “Nueva Maypa” in Torija (Guadalajara), 4) ALSA's facility in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid, Madrid), 5) Service station of “El Cisne ” in Zaragoza (Zaragoza) and 6) La Coruña's Exterior Port (La Coruña, Galicia). These HRS together with the construction of one electrolyser (Synergetic element) will help meet the alternative transport fuel demand and contribute to the decarbonization of the transport sector, in line with the objectives fixed by the European Commission within the 2020 Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy (SSMS), contributing to reach the Green Deal objectives revised by the RePoweWEU policy. Repsol Comercial de Productos Petrolíferos (RCPP), which will act as coordinator in the project, plans to build up to 14 HRS until 2026. This deployment is in line with the demand and needs of some of RCPP clients and partners, which are also participating in this project. These partners are Ibil Gestor de Carga de Vehículo Eléctrico (IBIL), Ignis Energía (IGNIS) and Repsol Hidrógeno (RH2). HY2MOVE will contribute, therefore, to the reduction of GreenHouse Gas emissions (GHG) through the decarbonisation of the transport sector, leading to a reduction of at least 238 kton of CO2 eq during the lifetime of the installations, contributing to the adoption of hydrogen as an alternative fuel on the TEN-T corridors (Mediterranean and Atlantic).
