Hydis Hypersonic Interceptor Project

The Hydis project is a European initiative to develop an interceptor against hypersonic threats, based on a solid-propellant rocket motor. The project aims to counter threats such as hypersonic glide vehicles, hypersonic cruise missiles, and manoeuvring ballistic missiles. The final concept review milestone has been validated, and the project is moving towards technology maturation with a focus on the terminal phase of interception by the kill vehicle.
