Hydrogen Backbone Network in Aragón

Enagás is expanding its strategic planning for a pan-European hydrogen backbone infrastructure, including a 191-kilometer segment in the Aragón region of Spain. This segment will pass through 28 municipalities in Zaragoza and Teruel and is part of a larger plan to build approximately 2,600 kilometers of hydrogen pipelines across Spain, connecting key industrial hubs and renewable production centers. The project aims to optimize environmental integration by relying on existing gas infrastructure routes and is part of the broader H2Med corridor connecting the Iberian Peninsula to northwest Europe.
