Description | This project includes the development of export hubs for both green and blue hydrogen at a 2,000 hectares site located near Port Bonython in the Upper Spencer Gulf, South Australia. The aim of the project is to provide access to multiple renewable energy sources nearby and create an export route through deepwater port located in Bonython.The site hosts Santos’ processing plant, which receives natural gas liquids and crude oil piped 659km from the Moomba plant for export and a diesel fuel import and storage terminal. This initiative is expected to develop projects that have the potential to create economic growth and regional development on the Eyre Peninsula. |
