India-headquartered hydrogen company Hygenco Green Energies has opened a green ammonia plant in Odisha, India. The facility is located in Gopalpur Industrial Park, a near 3,000-acre site developed by Tata Steel Special Economic Zone, and aims to produce 1.1 million tonnes a year of green ammonia once fully commissioned. Denmark-based Topsoe was selected as the licensor for the plant.
