Hyphen Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Project

The Hyphen project is a $10 billion, fully vertically-integrated green hydrogen and ammonia development located in the Tsau ǁ Khaeb (Sperrgebiet) National Park in Namibia. It is the largest such initiative in Sub-Saharan Africa and a cornerstone of the Southern Corridor Development Initiative. The phased development aims to generate up to two million tonnes of green ammonia annually by the end of the decade, supported by approximately 7GW of renewable energy generation and 3GW of electrolyser capacity, potentially avoiding five to six million tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year.
