Description
Description | Hyundai Motor and Kia are collaborating with the South Korean government and 87 auto parts manufacturers in a joint campaign to reduce carbon emissions across the entire automotive sector. The partnership involves supporting the replacement of emission reduction facilities of first-tier auto parts suppliers, who will then support second-tier suppliers to create a chain effect of carbon reduction throughout the automotive supply chain. This initiative aims to strengthen the emission reduction competitiveness of Korea's automotive industry amid growing global emission regulations and help achieve South Korea's 2035 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target for greenhouse gas emission reduction. |
