Description | Several road closures affecting I-10 and I-45 in Houston and Galveston County are scheduled for the weekend. TxDOT will close all eastbound and westbound lanes of I-10 from Cedar Lane to Bayou Drive from 7 p.m. on July 18 to 6 a.m. on July 19 for construction work. CenterPoint Energy will temporarily shut down I-10 at Garth Road from 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. on July 19 to remove overhead power lines as part of reliability upgrades. Additionally, the northbound I-45 frontage road at FM 2004/Camp Wallace Access Road in Galveston County remains closed from July 17 through July 23. |
