Description
Description | The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has opened a new two-lane flyover ramp connecting I-270 southbound to I-70 eastbound. This ramp replaces the old loop ramp to reduce congestion and improve safety by allowing smoother traffic flow over both directions of I-270. This ramp is part of the Far East Freeway project, which also includes adding a new lane on I-70 eastbound and reworking the I-270 northbound ramp. The first phase of this $76 million project began in 2022 and is expected to complete this fall. The next phase, a nearly $90 million project, will focus on I-70 westbound from Brice Road to I-270, including reconstructing the Brice Road bridge and reconfiguring interchanges. |
