Description | This project will add an additional lane in each direction to the inside of I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) from MP 2.9 just west of Gordon Highway extending to MP 6.3 just east of Deans Bridge Road. The Gordon Highway and Deans Bridge Road interchanges will also be reconstructed as partial cloverleaf/partial diamond interchanges replacing the existing full cloverleaf interchanges. The existing 4 lane interstate will be widened to 6 lanes providing 3 lanes in each direction separated by a 16' median with concrete median barrier wall. The total project length is 3.4 miles. |
