I-69 Multi-State Interstate Project

The I-69 project is a 2,600-mile interstate infrastructure project aiming to connect Canada to Mexico through eight states. It is designed to provide motorists access to jobs, education, and healthcare across a north-south region. The largest completed section runs through Indiana from Evansville to the Canadian border. The project includes a 67-mile extension linking Evansville to Indianapolis, completed in Fall 2024, and plans for a toll bridge and Ohio River Crossing connecting Henderson, Kentucky, and Evansville, Indiana, expected to finish in 2031.
