I-70 Resurfacing from Chief Hosa to Colfax

The project involves resurfacing I-70 from Chief Hosa to Colfax by milling the asphalt down to the concrete surface. A large pothole formed on the eastbound I-70 bridge at the Morrison and Golden exit, likely due to recent heavy rain and ongoing construction. CDOT crews responded with lane closures and contractor crews are working to make sustainable repairs to the pothole. The two right-most lanes of eastbound I-70 at the Morrison Road exit remain closed until repairs are complete, with drivers detoured to US Highway 40. Repair of the middle lane damage is expected to take most of the afternoon.
