I-75 @ CUMBERLAND BLVD - INTERCHANGE BEAUTIFICATION

The project is proposed to begin on the west side of the Cumberland Blvd Bridge over I-75 and end on the east side of the Cumberland Blvd Bridge over I-75 for a total length of 400 LF. The project consists of removing the existing standard chain link fencing along the Cumberland Blvd Bridge and replacing it with ornamental fencing on both sides. The new ornamental fencing will be installed on top of the existing parapet in 12’ wide panels that are 8’-2” in height. A unique structure, which will incorporate three large arches, will be added to the south side of the bridge. These arches will be made from aluminum panels and will incorporate decorative LED strip lighting, to enhance aesthetics. Also, a 6’9” x 23’ decorative sign that includes the Cumberland CID logo will be incorporated into the project by mounting it to the structural tubing that will be installed to support the decorative fencing.
