Description

Description

This project will widen the bridge and approaches on SR 92 over I-75 and the ramps for increased safety and provide better operation of the interchange. The existing SR 92 has two lanes and the bridge over I-75 has 6 lanes (2 thru lanes in each direction and 1 left turn lane in each direction separated by a 4' raised median). The proposed project will widen the roadway approaches to have an urban section with 4 lanes (2 in each direction) separated by a 20' raised median with 12' shoulders. The bridge will be widened to 124' to accommodate 2 thru lanes and 2 left lanes in each direction with 10' shoulders. The ramps will be widened to 3 lanes for dual left turns and the adjacent roads will be improved for better traffic circulation.
