The subject project includes the following additions: two signal installations to replace the existing ones, a newly designed loop ramp in the southeast quadrant of the I-85 / S.R.34 interchange, an addition of a northbound auxiliary lane which widens the I-85 Bridge to the outside, a minor realignment of the northbound I-85 exit ramp and the re-striping of S.R.34 that approaches the interstate.

Description | The subject project includes the following additions: two signal installations to replace the existing ones, a newly designed loop ramp in the southeast quadrant of the I-85 / S.R.34 interchange, an addition of a northbound auxiliary lane which widens the I-85 Bridge to the outside, a minor realignment of the northbound I-85 exit ramp and the re-striping of S.R.34 that approaches the interstate. The proposed widening of I-85 is now included within the limits of project PI# 0003161 which is under development by a Consultant. Both of these projects must be let together and construction activities coordinated. |
