Description | The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is undertaking a freeway reconstruction project on I-94 around General Mitchell Blvd. and the VA campus in Milwaukee. The project involves long-term closures of key ramps and local roads to allow for critical underground work, including the installation of a primary permanent storm sewer in the median. Traffic will be maintained with two lanes in each direction, shifted to widened outside shoulders. Additionally, Hawley Road near the freeway will be closed for three years to facilitate the project. |
