Description | The I CAN project will initiate intercultural dialogue between 240 youngsters 13 to 30 years old from Serbia, Italy, Romania, Suda, Uganda and South Africa who are working on local projects of change. The youngsters will have the opportunity to discuss with their peers problems they find important and reflect on differences and similarities of their cultural approaches towards them. While the youngsters will work in local teams in implemeting solutions to the identified problems, the virtual exchange will give them the possibility to interact with their peers from a different continent and develop buddy connections with them that will support them in working on the same problem in a different context. The process will allow the youngsters to develop critical thinking and soft skills, as well as empathy, tolerance and active citizenship. |
