IAS is an aviation operator and a maintenance company registered with the Ivory Coast Civil Aviation Authority. Created in 2002, IAS is one of three aircraft services companies independently owned and managed by the Moreau family. IAS (the ‘’Company’’) provides helicopter air transport services to the Oil and Gas industry in Cote d’Ivoire and to the Mining industry in the region. The Company owns 13 helicopters and employs 25 pilots. Its main base is located at the Felix Houphouet Boigny International Airport in Abidjan and it maintains satellite bases in Accra and Takoradi, Ghana. IAS headquarters in Abidjan comprises 1,400 m2 of administration offices, waiting rooms, maintenance and paint shops, and 2,940 m2 of hangars for helicopters. IAS provides helicopter transport for offshore oil platforms, mining projects, private charters, medical evacuation, cargo and heavy equipment transport, geophysical surveys, and other services. IAS is seeking to acquire three secondhand Dauphin N3 helicopters (the ‘’Project’’) to modernize its fleet with newer generation helicopters to meet the specific requirements of a five-year renewable contract currently being negotiated with leading oil exploration and production firm Canadian Natural Resources International. As per standard contractual terms, the Company is expected to provide around the clock, on-demand services and therefore has to have dedicated helicopters available for each long term contract. One of the newly acquired helicopters will serve as main helicopter and the second as back up. The third one will be used for upcoming contracts.
