Description | The project involves the construction, financing and operation of a 20-MW solar PV farm located near Kesinga in the District of Kalahandi/Odisha. Project is undertaken by Sadipali Solar Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle designed by the sponsor to execute the project. The promoter of the project is IBC Solar Group. The PV plant is part of a tender round for a total of 270 MW in the state, issued by the SECI in August 2016 under Phase II Batch IV of the JNNSM. Total investment is $18.19 million. The project was financed non-recourse from L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd with debt of INR 98 crore ($14.73 million) and equity of INR 23 crore ($3.46 million).
