Iber-Oleff Brasil was created in 1998 as part of the Iberomoldes Group's internationalization strategy for the automotive sector. The beginning of the activity was marked by collaboration with Volkswagen, when the brand decided to start production of the Polo model in Brazil. Since then, the company has rapidly evolved into establishing partnerships with other car manufacturers with a strong presence in that market, such as FIAT, FORD and GM. Recognized in the market for its quality and performance, it was considered a strategic supplier in the country by HONDA and Renault, one of its main customers. The main objectives of the project presented to SOFID are to improve the company's operational performance, adapt its production and logistics park to the growing demand of its customers and reinforce the technical and management skills of local staff. The company requested SOFID's participation, in the form of a loan to the Ibermoldes Group, for supplies to Iber-Oleff Brasil. The project contributes to the economic and social development of the country by maintaining the current 430 jobs and providing adequate training for employees with a view to increasing productivity and efficiency. In environmental terms, the company applies the necessary requirements to obtain ISO 14000 environmental certification, which reveals a concern for environmental and sustainability issues.
