IBO Italia coordinates an informal network of 11 European youth organizations active in the field of International Volunteering, that will cooperate during the year 2025. General objective of the Work Plan is to support the work of the network, in order to strengthen sensitization actions on EU policies and opportunities in the youth field, as well as in order to encourage active and democratic participation of a high number of young people to the life of civil society. Specific objectives: • To reinforce cooperation and networking among EU youth organizations in the field of transnational mobility, volunteering and youth work; • To promote the activities of the WP and the opportunities offered by EU programmes and policies in the field of youth, and, at the same time, to bring to the attention of policy makers all issues collected by youth organizations from their beneficiaries; • To increase young people’s involvement, in particular of those ones with fewer opportunities, in high quality non-formal learning experiences, as precious tools for democratic participation and active citizenship, as well as for acquiring soft skills for personal and professional growth; • To support professional development and the quality of youth work, with a particular focus to the priorities of inclusion and diversity, digital competences, environmental sustainability and participation to democratic life. The Work Plan 2025 includes the following main activities: a) General management and running of the organisation b) Short&Long Term volunteering experiences and youth mobility c) Training and EU mobility of youth workers d) Initiatives for democratic participation and Education to Global Citizenship e) Communication and dissemination IBO’s Plan is in line with EU Youth Strategy and with EU Youth Goals (1-3-7-8-11). It fosters the cooperation of civil society actors for the implementation of EU policies and programmes for young people's future.
