Description | Ichthys is a major liquefied natural gas (LNG) project located off the northwest coast of Australia. It includes deep offshore production facilities, two floating production units, a gas pipeline, and a liquefaction plant. The project extracts gas and condensate from the Ichthys field in the Browse Basin, processes them on a central processing facility and a floating production storage and offloading unit, and transports gas via a long pipeline to the Bladin Point liquefaction plant for LNG production and export. |
