The Third Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation Project in India will finance a loan to replenish its foreign exchange resources in order to meet the growing demand of its customers for foreign exchange loans. This project will consist of the development of private industry in India by making available medium-term and long-term loans in foreign exchange, to encourage local and foreign private capital participation in such financing, to make equity investments and to assist in the expansion of the Indian capital market.
