The objective of the Infrastructure Reconstruction Enabling Program (IREP) for Indonesia is to support the Bureau of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction for Aceh and Nias (BRR's) strategy for infrastructure reconstruction by providing high quality technical assistance (TA) services in infrastructure program management, planning, design, construction management, quality management and program monitoring. The project consists of the following components: Component 1) will support the mobilization of a highly skilled Infrastructure Program Management (IPM) team deployed within the existing BRR structure to coordinate infrastructure program and its activities at the macro level. Component 2: will finance a technical team to undertake the planning, project preparation, and implementation work for the West Coast logistical area. Component 3: will support mobilization of a technical team to undertake the planning, project preparation, and implementation work for the Nias logistical area. Component 4: will finance a technical consulting team to undertake the formulation, investment planning, design, and project implementation work of strategic infrastructure projects that are at the provincial and or national level, or with local governments not covered by components 2 and 3. Component 5: will strengthen BRR's capacity to put in place the financial management framework required to ensure that it meets all its fiduciary responsibilities with respect to this TA and other BRR investment projects.
