The overall goals of this project are to achieve greater efficiency of utilization and equity of distribution of health personnel, increase the skills of health professionals, and improve the quality of health professional practices. This project will consist of; improving efficiency of utilization, and equity of distribution of health professionals; planning and management; innovations to support allocate efficiency and productivity; improve quality of health professionals practices; strengthening the regulatory system; strengthening professional associations; promoting quality assurance for health services; improving quality of health professional training; improving training methods and programs; strengthening training institutions; province project management; building central support for health professionals; strengthening planning capacity and technical support; improving the professional environment; and project management. The immediate impact of this project will improve the utilization, skills, and performance of health personnel.
