Objectives: advance LGBTI equality in EU,by contributing to development/implementation of laws/policies and mainstreaming LGBTI rights; raising awareness about LGBTI rights; strengthen skills of LGBTI NGOs for effective engagement with policy-makers; enable policy-makers and stakehoders to instigate change in practice; strengthen ILGA-Europe as an inclusive organisation, representative of diversity in LGBTI communities and society; build strategic alliances; enhance ILGA-Europe’s sustainability and impact; monitor political developments and and develop policy responses for emerging issues Activities: Awareness-raising/campaigning, in particular through election campaign; contribute to a EU LGBTI strategy and workprogramme 2019-2023; documentation of LGBTI rights in Europe; proposals for legal/policy responses to intersectionality issues;engagement with decision-makers; capacity-building for LGBTI CSOs; peer learning; organisational development processes; diversification of funding; internal diversity mainstreaming Beneficiaries: LGBTI (550), policy-makers(100), practitioners(100), NGOs (150) Results: Candidates/MEPs support LGBTI rights; comprehensive agenda for LGBTI rights for EU institutions 2019-2023, incl. EU LGBTI strategy; strong EP LGBTI Intergroup; emerging issues identified and policy measures developed; enhanced protection against discrimination based on SOGISC through adoption/implementation of laws/policies; strong FRA LGBTI survey; strengthened dialogue between CSOs and policy-makers; enhanced capacity of policy-makers/stakeholders to advance LGBTI equality; greater public awareness about SOGISC; enhanced sustainability of ILGA-Europe and members Deliverables: 4 policy briefs; Rainbow Module; election campaign; webinar; 4 diversity meetings; 2 EU events; European LGBTI conference; 5 trainings; advocacy visits; Intersex Forum; 2 researches; Policy publications; Magazine, e-bulletin; 2 social media campaigns; capacity-building; evaluation meeting/report
