The Ilha Grande environmental PPP project would involve the development of infrastructure and the provision of management support services to preserve the island and to attract visitors to the protected areas. The concession, which would have a period of 25 years, would include the following tasks, among others: implementation of public policies of environmental preservation and conservation design build and maintenance of equipment and facilities to be use by the State Environmental Institute actions to improve the living conditions of residents and visiting tourists explore economic activities compatible with the rules on protected areas
