The project involves the financing, design, construction, and operations and maintenance of the Iloilo-Capiz-Aklan Expressway in the Philippines.The Project entails the financing, design, construction, and operation and maintenance of a fully access-controlled toll expressway with four lanes, which can be expanded to six or eight lanes. It will include roadways, viaducts, a tunnel, and a long-span bridge. The project has an estimated length of 210 km, traversing 2 cities and 20 municipalities along 3 provinces (Aklan, Capiz, and Iloilo) in Panay Island. The Project aims to:reduce the travel time between the provinces of Aklan, Capiz, and Iloilo;eliminate congestion in existing highways, especially in población areas as chokepoints;Enhance the logistics network to ease the delivery of goods from source to destination.improve emergency response in times of flooding as a result of inclement weather; andProvide tourism development opportunities for various tourist attractions in Panay.
