Description

Description

Project for the implementation and deployment of a bus network that has been reviewed based on the possible implementation of the bus rapid transit (BRT) or articulated buses. The new hierarchy of the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) bus network which will operate with the possible implementation of a BRT or articulated buses is detailed in the BRT design development study. This network redeployment project is more like a transportation plan in that it evaluates the possibility of reviewing the network organization, the location of the stops and the installation of central service infrastructures (major hubs, minor hubs, terminuses, bus shelters, incentive parking lots, etc.). Whether there is a BRT or not, these elements must still be reorganized. This project is therefore not limited to considering the implementation of a BRT. The revised service could be organized around an articulated bus service rather than a BRT.
