Implementation of the 2026 EU-LFS ad hoc subject ‘digital platform employment’

The 2026 LFS ad hoc module aims to provide a microdata file containing the national microdata according to the requirements of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2735 of 28 September 2023. Transmission will be before 31 March 2027. An interim report describing the preparation of the fieldwork will be transmitted by 31 December 2025. The quality report will be delivered before 31 May 2027 and will follow the structure of the ESS Metadata Handler template provided. It will include information according to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2180, particularly on: the placement of the ad hoc module 2026 in the LFS questionnaire, sample selection, data collection mode(s), non-response, difficulties in the implementation and recommendation for future data collection, deviations from the model questions and their justification. The total duration of the project is 25 months in order to cover the costs of possible revisions of the final deliverables, if required.
