Description | The Lefholz Road bridge is the first bridge of the Improve I-70 Kansas City project from Blue Springs to Odessa. The bridge was outdated and needed new infrastructure after serving traffic for more than 60 years. The new bridge added a third lane to each direction in I-70, just west of Missouri Route 7, and upgraded the I-70 interchange at Route D in Bates City and Missouri Route 131 in Odessa. The total completion of the entire project is expected by 2030. |
