Improve operations with an asset management program

Creating an up to date asset management program will increase operators’ awareness of regular duties and increase monitoring of all operators and materials and supplies. Operations and maintenance of water systems requires regular inspection and maintenance of the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance items of the water plant and water distribution system. This program will also assist with monitoring budgets. Completion of this project will ensure that safe reliable drinking water is available and will have the off-reserve benefit of reducing the potential for additional pressure on the First Nations’ health care demands on the provincial system.
