Description
Description | The Adult Education Survey (AES) provides comprehensive data on the participation of individuals in education and training (formal, non-formal and informal learning) and is thus an important source of detailed information for participation in lifelong learning. Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of the European Parliament and of the Council sets the new framework for European social statistics collected from sample surveys as from 2021. Under this framework, the domain ‘education and training’ refers to the Adult Education Survey (AES). Data for the next AES have to be collected between July 2022 and March 2023. In Estonia, the fieldwork for AES2022 will take place from July 2022 until December 2022. The aim general objective of the project is to improve the methodology of Adult Education Survey 2022. Project activities include implementation of new and improvement of existing variables, testing the questionnaire, improvement of the data processing, changing the sampling frame, establish strategy to reach new target population, training interviewers, implementation of new weighting method to ensure comparability with LFS. |
