Description

Description

Within the framework of the proposed project, two sections of roads in the Czech-Polish border will be upgraded — namely road III/04314 in the section connecting road I/43 on the Czech side and VS No. 392 in the section Stronie Śląskie — Czarna Góra (Montenegro) — Idzików on the Polish side. Thanks to this modernisation, the availability of numerous tourist attractions in the area, headed by the extensively visited ski resorts Červená Voda (Czech Republic) and Czarna Góra (PR) will be significantly increased. The main objective of the proposed project is to ensure economic development through the increase of qualitative and quantitative indicators of tourism in the Czech-Polish border area of the Kladský border region, the Orlické Mountains and Králický Sněžník. The most important sub-objective of the project, through which the main objective will be met, is to improve the transport accessibility of the tourist attractiveness of the area, in particular its most developed mountain resorts. Thanks to the modernisation of road roads on both sides of the border, driving time will be reduced and the comfort of travelling on reconstructed sections will be increased. The aim of using information traffic signs, which is also part of the project, is to ensure that current and potential visitors are aware of the main attractiveness of the region. The publication of further information material and a joint conference informing about the outputs of the project will also help to this end. Another objective of the project is to increase the employment of the population of the border areas concerned (mainly on the Polish side) by enabling easier mobility of workers. Overall, the package of measures implemented is aimed at creating the right conditions for tourism-economic development on both sides of the border and strengthening the potential for mutual tourist exchange.
