Inclusions East has purchased property #711606 which currently contains 2 buildings: a former office building of 7500 sq. ft and another that is 3500 square feet. Phase 2 - Training Centre Replacement consists of joining between the two existing buildings a newly constructed portion that is 4600 square feet. Phase 2 will allow for the components of an accessible space which will also be open for both dedicated use for persons with disabilities and for purposeful community use to promote inclusion. Contained within a multi-sensory environment, meeting space, activity room, music/art room, craft room, and accessible washroom facilities. The administration of Inclusions East will also be centralized allowing for ease of navigation for individuals and families seeking supports or community programming and as a matter of efficiency. Phase 2 will address the main issues of inaccessibility, safety, and over-capacity leaving waitlists and gaps in services for individuals with a disability that currently exist in its present location.
