Description
Description | INSPIRE - Inclusive Arts for Social Participation, Integration, Resilience and Well-being in Europe is an innovative and ambitious project that aims to promote the emotional and inclusive well-being of people with and without mental health problems through culture and art. The project aims to combat the stigma of mental health problems by presenting positive and inclusive perspectives through the performing arts or cultural and artistic events. INSPIRE will also promote diversity and accessibility by making culture accessible to all, including citizens with mental and physical disabilities. One of the main objectives of INSPIRE is to co-create new types of performances and artistic events with professional and non-professional artists. The project will explore new performance formats that intersect with other areas such as mental health, social inclusion and intercultural dialogue. INSPIRE will promote social resilience and social inclusion through culture or in cultural and artistic events, especially for people with disabilities. INSPIRE has a transnational dimension and involves capacity building, exchange of experience and cooperation at international level. The project will bring together artists and cultural organisations from Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and other European countries to share knowledge and practices and create a diverse and inclusive cultural community. The project will also work with other cultural organisations and initiatives to complement their events and cross-border activities. Through INSPIRE, the partners aim to contribute to the growth and innovation of the cultural and creative sector in Europe. The project will create new opportunities for collaboration between artists and cultural organisations, promote social inclusion and diversity in the arts, and provide accessible and inclusive cultural experiences for all citizens. |
