Description
Description | This project aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of inclusive education in China through a Jean Monnet Module at Southwest University. By integrating European Union (EU) values and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the module will provide students, and educators with critical insights into EU policies and best practices in inclusive education. The project will cover key themes such as legal frameworks, pedagogical approaches, and cross-cultural adaptability, fostering an academic environment that promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion. Through a combination of lectures, and workshops, participants will analyze successful EU models and assess their relevance in the Chinese educational context. The module will also encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and policy discussions, bridging the gap between theory and practice. By equipping students with a deeper understanding of inclusive education principles, this project aims to contribute to the long-term goal of advancing more equitable and accessible education systems in China. The proposed initiative aligns with the EU’s commitment to knowledge dissemination and capacity building in higher education while strengthening academic cooperation between Europe and China. Ultimately, this module seeks to serve as a catalyst for future research, policy innovation, and international collaboration in inclusive education. |
