Description
Description | In today's society, sports have the potential to go far beyond physical activity; they can serve as a powerful tool for inclusion, diversity, and personal development. Through this cooperation partnership between three NGOs working in the sports field, our project aims to promote social inclusion, well-being, and European values among young people by creating an accessible, educational, and engaging sports environment. The selected European priority – Promoting eguality and European values in and through sport - is at the heart of our initiative, shaping the concrete objectives and expected results. The main objectives of the project are: 1. Fostering inclusion and diversity through sports. One of the key objectives of this project is to increase participation in sports among marginalized or underrepresented groups, such as young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, migrants, children with disabilities, and girls in male-dominated sports. 2. Promoting well-being and mental health through physical activity. Physical activity is directly linked to mental well-being, confidence, and academic success. Therefore, the project will focus on using sports as a tool to enhance students’ well-being at school. 3. Strengthening european identity, citizenship, and core values. Sports naturally embody European values such as fair play, respect, teamwork, and solidarity. The project aims to reinforce these principles. This project is not just about sports—it is about creating a lasting impact on inclusion, diversity, well-being, and citizenship through physical activity. By implementing innovative programs, engaging young people in meaningful activities, and training sports professionals in inclusive practices, we aim to create a sustainable and replicable model that can be expanded across Europe. Through this initiative, we strive to empower youth, promote European values, and build stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities through the universal language of sports. |
