Description
Description | The main objective of the project is to increase the competences, knowledge and skills of the students of the participating universities in the fields of film, animation and interactive arts. This objective should, in particular, be achieved through joint cross-border specialist cooperation, which will contribute to the removal of barriers to cross-border education and will allow for linking the provision of the design and coordination of educational programmes in the field of media. 4 partner institutions will be involved in the implementation of the project — the Association Výstavy na cestách z.s. e.V., the West Bohemian University in Pilsen (through the Ladislav-Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art), the Bavarian-Böhmische Kulturverein Bohème in Amberg e.V. and the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden. The duration of the project is set at 35 months (6 semesters). Every semester an interdisciplinary Bavarian-Czech student team is formed. Under professional guidance, this team will work on practical tasks from the study area of film, animation and interactive art. When dealing with specific tasks, students should be able to test their theoretical knowledge in practice, develop their subject and social competences and skills, and improve their language skills, especially in the professional field. Workshops are held at the beginning and end of the semester, in which the Bavarian-Czech student teams are formed and the tasks are distributed. The teams process their tasks independently during the semester, in the group and with guidance, and present their results at the final workshops. A total of 12 workshops will take place alternately on both sides of the border (6 in Bavaria, 6 in the Czech Republic). During the 6 semesters, a total of 48 students will be involved in the project (24 students from Bavaria, 24 students from the Czech Republic). The two associations, which in turn have media competence, act as an organizational mediator, guarantee a sufficient practical relevance, make the selection of suitable speakers from the field of media and ensure the spatial infrastructure for the creative work of the student teams. The results of the joint work of the students from Bavaria and the Czech Republic will be publicly presented after completion of the project (2 times in Bavaria, 1 times in the Czech Republic). The aim of these presentations is to show the added value of cross-border cooperation between both universities to a broad public. |
