Description

The main goal of EMTrain is building and improving Vocational Education and Training (VET) capacity for Medical Emergency and Disaster teachers/ trainers/ professionals from South Mediterranean Countries (SMCs). Main actives are designing new curricula, incorporating into digital platforms. Consortium structure of project (1 EU member, 1 associated 3rd country, 3 SMC) and novel digital platform will contribute to building the European Education Area (EEA) by improving quality and equity in vocational education and training and lifelong learning. Moreover EMTrain will give extensive contribution professional developments of VET teachers, trainers and professionals from Medical Emergency and Disaster disciplines. International cooperation between EU member states, associate third countries and SMCs will be strengthened by developing the resilient, digital training platform with new curricula adapted. Training mobilities and infrastructural studies and sustainability tools to be developed in scope of project will provide dissemination and exploitation of project results. Project activities are planned in 36 months period. 6 work package will be completed in 20 task to produce 28 deliverable to reach expected impact in certain period. With the collaboration of 5 beneficiaries 5 project meetings, 1 conference, 1 workshop ve 2 mobilities will be generated in 36 months. Two of the SMC VET partners will implement the new curricula and digital platforms in their work environments. project aims to create insight for not only beneficiaries but also more SMCs to embrace digital the-learning-based teaching methods to align with modern digital era.
