Description | This project covers two countries, Slovenia and Croatia. It is run by a consortium of three very experienced organisations in re-granting and capacity building. The general objective of the project is to enhance the capacity of grassroots CSOs for significant community and societal impact in putting EU values in action. The project has two uniquely strong and interconnected components, designed in line with the needs assessment to achieve the specific objectives: 1. To enable different models of impact oriented financial support to grassroots and developing CSOs engaged in promotion and protection of EU values and rights, 2. To provide comprehensive capacity building support to grassroots and developing CSOs with the aim to foster their organisational development, cross-border and transnational networking and their programmatic capacity to act at both community and institutional levels, 3. To promote the grassroots CSOs’ impact on promotion and protection of EU values and rights. Financial support to third parties is designed in a way to address different needs of the CSOs. One call is focused on impact-oriented projects of different sizes to enable participation of grass-roots and developing CSOs. Another call is focused on action grants for quick support to ad-hoc projects with a purpose to support organisations when urgent forms of immediate reaction is needed either to tackle challenges or to seize up the advocacy opportunities. The third call will further foster cross-border cooperation. The capacity building programme has a mosaic structure combining various formats and methods, creating a dynamic cross-thematic and transnational learning environment. Key activities include: an introductory workshop focused on common understanding of EU values, a series of 12 webinars, a series of 3 thematic trainings with EU-wide specialists, a series of 4 transnational policy debates, 45 mentorship packages, a management of EU Values' Virtual Classroom, and a multilingu |
