"TALENTS WITH RACKETS is an innovative project aiming to promote physical activities through badminton among people of different generations and social backgrounds, including with disabilities. The general objective of TALENTS WITH RACKETS project is “Increasing the inclusion and diversity within the European sport through badminton by following the common sport values under the EU Council recommendations of health-enhancing physical activity."" This 18-month’ partnership is established by three experienced partners from Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania and a newcomer from Bulgaria. Specific objectives of the project are: (SO): 1. Boosting the knowledge and skills validation in badminton through the development and implementation of innovative training approaches.2. Increasing the role of sport in promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities for people off different generations and social backgrounds, including with disabilities through badminton. 3. Raising awareness on the added value and health (physical and mental) benefits of badminton in relation to healthy lifestyle for all approach About 490 participants from Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania will join the project live activities which encompass 6 international and 30 national sport events. The project results will be widely promoted via appropriate impact and dissemination instruments in social and electronic media. A strong awareness-raising campaign will reach out to more than 600 people through over 100 publications on the project’s website and via the social media of all partners. The project’s long-term impact on target groups will be measured in Improved opportunities for better social inclusion of the target group through sport, improved relationship within local communities; Increased self-confidence of the project participants; increased opportunities for better social inclusion of people from different generations and social groups, including people with disabilities, through sport."
