Increasing the competitiveness of dairy farms in the Greater Region by improving their protein autonomy

The project aims to disseminate practices and innovations to improve the protein autonomy of the dairy systems of the Greater Region but also of this region considered as a whole. The involvement of stakeholders throughout the project must allow a critical assessment and appropriation of these innovations by the sector in order to increase their competitiveness. It will also make it possible to perpetuate exchanges between these actors beyond the limits of the project. After sharing and applying a methodology estimating the autonomy and sustainability of farms and territories, a census of innovations that can be mobilised to improve these dimensions will be carried out. Particular attention will be paid to the levers offered by the management of the problem at the level of the Greater Region, as well as measures to reduce the obstacles limiting the adoption of the innovations and good practices identified.
