The overall objective of the HEPALIS project: The main goal of the HEPALIS project is to increase awareness and to create a behavioural change in sports volunteers and European citizens towards an active and healthy lifestyle. HEPALIS project aims to encourage participation in sport and physical activity, especially by supporting the implementation of European Union (EU) policy documents in the field of sport and other relevant policy areas such as recommendations, guidelines, policy strategies, and the implementation of the Council Recommendation on health-enhancing physical activity (HEPA). The direct target group of the HEPALIS project: The target group of the project is especially the low income individuals. Low-income individuals in the groups listed below have a disadvantage in terms of both benefiting from sports facilities and buying sports equipment for their homes as they have limited financial means. • Low-income migrants and refugees • Low-income home-office employees • Low-income university students studying online • Low-income older people • Low income physically disabled individuals • Housewives with no income The work packages of the HEPALIS project are as follows: WP 1:Project management and coordination M1-M24 WP 2:Developing E-Learning Toolkit for Volunteer Personal Trainers M2-M11 WP 3:Developing the Gamification-based Physical Activity Mentoring, Training and Online Sports Platform M12-17 WP 4:Pilot Schemes:1: Online Personal Trainer Training / 2: Online Physical Activity Program Under the Guidance of Volunteer Personal Trainers M18-23 WP 5:Impact and dissemination M1-M24 The main deliverables (outputs) of the HEPALIS project: D-1: Personal Trainer Training Curriculum D-2: Personal Trainer Training Modules D-3: Injury Prevention Guide for Non-Athletes D-4: Gamification-based Physical Activity Mentoring, Training and Online Sports Platform
