Description	Nebius has secured approval from the Independence City Council in Missouri to proceed with the construction of its largest US AI factory to date. The project is a multi-building campus on approximately 400 acres with a potential capacity of up to 1.2 GW. It is expected to create approximately 1,200 skilled construction jobs and around 130 permanent high-tech positions once fully operational. The factory will feature a closed-loop cooling system and noise-reduction technology, connecting to the city's municipally owned utility without increasing residential power rates. Nebius will make Payments in Lieu of Taxes projected to deliver over $650 million to local jurisdictions over 20 years and has committed to community benefits including STEM and AI literacy programs.
