Information NRL has come up with India Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline with a ticket size of 377.08 INR Crores. This project in Oil/Gas/LNG Storage sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Completion Certificate/COD and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project IBFPL is a 1 MMTPA capacity Greenfield Cross border Product Pipeline System for transportation of High Speed Diesel [HSD] from NRLs Siliguri Marketing Terminal at Siliguri, India to Petroleum Product Storage Depot at Parbatipur of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation [BPC] in district Dinajpur, Bangladesh. The length of pipeline is approximately 129.50 km and the pipeline portion in India is from Siliguri Marketing Terminal of NRL and up to the Indo Bangla International Border. The total project cost for construction of the India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline from [IBFPL] from Siliguri to Parbatipur [Bangladesh] is Rs. 377.08 crores [indian portion of project cost revised]. Out of the above, NRLs investment in the project will be Rs. 91.54 crores for the India portion of the pipeline. The remaining amount of Rs. 285.24 crores for Bangladesh portion shall be funded by Govt. of India as grant-in-aid.
