The tender pipeline includes 281 GWh of energy storage tenders since 2018, with 105 GWh under execution, 110 GWh stalled in tendering, and 53 GWh cancelled due to procurement design issues. The project faces challenges in tender design and financing, with capital investments estimated at ₹4–5 lakh crore for the battery portion alone. |
