Information India International Convention and Exhibition Centre Limited has come up with India International Convention and Expo Centre with a ticket size of 8582 INR Crores. This project in Common Infrastructure for Industrial Parks sub-sector involves IICC will be at par with the best in the world in terms of size and quality, offering setting for international and national events, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and trade shows attracting visitors and business to India. The India International Convention and Expo Centre [IICC] is envisioned as a World Class, transit oriented, mixed use district, providing one of the largest facilities of its kind in India and Asia. The development of the IICC and supporting components is expected to help India to increase its share from 4.9 pecentage to around 15 percentage by 2024 of the Asian MICE market. The current status of the project is Consultant Appointed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project 1. The ECC will serve as an ideal forum to balance demand and supply dynamics by enabling the participating manufacturers/ producers to showcase their products to a wider consumer base, thereby leading to new export opportunities for the country. 2. Aided by positive government initiatives and trade policies, the commercial events that will be held in the proposed facility will open up avenues for several new business tie-ups.
